It was Jesus who quoted part of Jeremiah when He said these words in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." When life throws you a curve... when you are confused... when you are faced with a difficult decision in your life... Jesus says, “Come to me, and I'll help you.”

One of our primary goals at Oakland Christian Church is to fulfill Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28. We want to help people find their way in life by leading them to Him. No matter the problem... whether it has been a wrong turn in life, worn out from burdens, or sinful habits, or just plain wondering which way to go in life... Jesus is the compass that leads us in the right direction.
